A position is available to expand Moody’s presence within the Corporate industry focused on Large Corporate clients across Europe & Africa. There is significant opportunity to deliver the full enterprise offering to these customers at far greater scale than at present, to the benefit both of the customers and Moody’s. You will identify, develop and grasp this opportunity, to work with colleagues across the organization and across the industry to;

  • Bring a †hunter’ mentality. Adept at managing their own time and workload to best utilise available resource and seek new deals from across the market.
  • Identify new customers and contacts to approach in a given market and industry. Drive engagement and commercial relationships with new customers uncovering opportunities to engage commercially and deliver Moody’s solutions.
  • Find new opportunities through strategic projects to scale against core customers and lead expansion of propositions.
  • Develop campaigns and outreach ideas to prospect and engage with accounts and contacts currently categorised as “white space”.
  • Build, deliver and track account plans; forecast, report key information and performance indicators.
  • Leverage deep insight into the Corporate sector, to uncover opportunity and risk for customers while addressing associated needs.
  • Engage with relevant specialists and domain experts to progress opportunities and close new deals, expanding our presence.
  • Share feedback and market intelligence with internal segments and CPO management.

Qualifications & Attributes:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Finance, Economics or related area required.
  • 7+ years of experience in new business development. Prior experience with large conglomerates is preferred.
  • Understanding of managing accounts across multiple use cases and product lines.
  • Knowledge or prior experience of selling solutions to key corporate segments e.g. Energy, Natural Resources, Manufacturing, Fintech, Automotive, Aviation, Pharmaceuticals, or TMT would be an asset.
  • Experience in any of these domains: Compliance Solution, Credit Risk Assessment, Procurement Solution, Master Data Management or Data Solutions.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, thrives in ambiguity, adapts to shifting circumstances.
  • Networking skills: connected to relevant industries, abreast of latest trends, very strong C-suite engagement skills and track record.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, in-person and virtual.
  • Fluency in English is essential, other European languages would be advantageous.
