Responsibilities:

  • Manage the larger and more complex transactions within the CME Directorship alongside the Senior Associates and Associates/Analysts;
  • Using your significant experience to provide input and support on structuring transactions, preparing credit submissions, employing and overseeing financial modelling where required and making recommendations on transactions to credit;
  • Driving transactions forward whilst engaging multiple stakeholders including the Client Coverage bankers, Credit Risk Partners, Product Partners and client support teams to achieve a seamless client experience;
  • Responsible for oversight of the risk profile and monitoring and compliance requirements of each client portfolio within the Directorship, and ensuring portfolio hygiene is maintained to a very high standard;
  • Proactive and effective workflow management between Client Coverage, CME, Product Specialists, Credit and client support teams, in order to meet transaction timelines;
  • Contribute to and maintain oversight of portfolio maintenance activities including portfolio administration, monitoring of facility documentation and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of system data;
  • Exercise assigned Delegated Credit Authority (“DCA”), required to make astute decisions and recommendations based upon commercial knowledge and experience whilst abiding by NAB’s policy requirements;
  • Attending internal and external stakeholder meetings to support business outcomes whilst managing portfolios;
  • Providing regular guidance/coaching to Senior Associates, Associates and Analysts within the team; and
  • Identify and embed process changes to drive continuous improvement and process efficiency.
