Responsibilities:

The Associate Director, Clinical Operations reports directly to the Executive Director of Operations and Performance and will lead key strategic and operational initiatives aimed at improving the operational efficiency and performance, effectiveness and quality of services and functions within hospital facilities, mental health and primary and community health services across the District.
The position will support the Executive Director of Operations and play a pivotal role in providing high level advice in supporting SWSLHD. This position is crucial in the day-to-day operational management of access and flow, management of planned and unplanned surgery in addition to supporting innovative model of care development, implementation and evaluation across the LHD.
This is a dynamic senior management position responsible for managing major policy and strategic initiatives which require a whole of District perspective to deliver the required outcomes, within short time-frames, often with multiple senior internal and external stakeholders and within, at time, sensitive and complex policy and political context.
