Description:
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- At least 4 years experience managing a team of individual contributors as a direct people manager
- Strong SQL skills with an understanding of advanced Python for data analysis and manipulation, enabling efficient handling and interpretation of large datasets.
- Extensive experience in quantitative analysis roles, ideally including having worked closely with product teams for at least 3 years.
- Excellent technical skills applying expert level SQL with advanced Python as a plus for both analysis and efficient manipulation of large data sets.
- Deep experience with data visualization tools, particularly Tableau, for creating impactful, clear, and engaging visual representations that communicate complex data insights effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Expert level knowledge of data visualisation tools like Tableau which we use to create compelling visualisations to convey complex data.
- Extensive experience working with product stakeholders in setting up A|B experiments, interpreting results and deep diving to understand the impact of particular experiments.
- Excellent communication skills, taking complex business problems, articulating these as analytical problems and presenting your findings in a clear and precise way.
- You are outcome oriented, and can take a business challenge, create actionable analytical insights against it, and align stakeholders on actions to create business value.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
As an Associate Director for Product Analytics within the Data Alliance, you will act as a vital liaison between the team and high-level stakeholders, guiding and inspiring future developments in digital products. This role is essential for ensuring the team effectively delivers insights while advancing their expertise in both domain and function. You will collaborate closely with the Growth Product team, which focuses on enhancing the prospect experience, and the Commercial Marketing team, fostering a collaborative approach to create optimal experiences throughout the customer journey.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Product teams to address cross-functional challenges and track performance using a data-driven approach. The ideal candidate must be skilled in problem scoping, formulating insightful questions, and leading strategic analytical projects.
- Lead several squads of Product Analysts through their Leads, motivating the whole team around a joint vision for their domains, ensuring prioritisation and focus on the most value adding work as well as the the quality of deliverables, and fostering the growth and development of your team.
- Partner closely with leaders in the Product organisation to promote a culture rooted in evidence-based decision making.
- Communicate actionable insights clearly across the organisation highlighting the “so-whats” of your analyses in order to drive the growth of our business.
- Explore and analyse customer behaviour and product performance data in order to detect growth opportunities for the HelloFresh digital product by improving user experience.
