Description:

Associate Director, Global Engagement (International
Relations)
Position Purpose: The Associate Director, Global Engagement (International Relations) will
support the delivery of the University Globalisation Framework –
particularly as it relates to international relations. The role will work to
expand and enhance Massey’s engagement of and support from
international communities, global indigenous networks and institutional
partners. This will be completed in conjunction with our colleges,
research areas and relevant professional units, as well as all parts of the
Office of the DVC Students and Global Engagement to build and maintain
internal and external relationships that strengthen Massey’s international
reputation and engagement.
The Associate Director will lead the international relations team to
support college-specific globalisation plans under Massey’s Globalisation
Framework which supports the University Strategy. The role will support
growth in global research partnerships and disseminate opportunities for
global knowledge exchange. The Associate Director will serve as the
university’s main point of contact and organiser for both incoming and
outgoing international delegations and visitors.
