Associate Director, GxP Learning & Performance - Learning Technology

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Doctorate degree and 3 years of Operations and/or Development experience
OR
Master’s degree and 7 years of Operations and/or Development experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of Operations and/or Development experience
OR
Associate’s degree and 12 years of Operations and/or Development experience
OR
High school diploma / GED and 14 years of Operations and/or Development experience
In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have a minimum of 3 years experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation or resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Biotech, pharmaceutical, GxP industry or experience in a highly regulated environment
  • Bachelors in education, science, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with at least 5 years designing and implementing programs and initiatives from needs assessment through delivery
  • 5 years experience with eLearning tools and other Learning technologies
  • Strong change management skills and demonstrated ability to simplify and improve the business processes
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills under resource constraints and time pressure

Responsibilities:

In this vital role you will report to the GxP Learning & Performance organization, the Associate Director of GxP Learning & Performance will manage the development, implementation, and sustainability of GxP, quality, and technical training solutions. This role will work closely with the Director of GxP Learning & Performance to drive the overall growth and transformation of the learning ecosystem through technology to simplify and provide an improved end user experience.

  • Execute GxP Learning strategy—including working with stakeholders to determine learning needs and priorities and provides appropriate learning technology solutions to meet those learning needs.
  • Develop training resources within functional departments to be able to identify and solve learning needs as they arise through technology solutions.
  • Evaluate training needs and participate in the technology solutions for development and delivery of training materials for network initiatives, including, but not limited to GxP and Quality, utilizing high quality, innovative, timely, and effective learning solutions.
  • Develop a digital learning portfolio roadmap for the GxP Learning organization that helps drive simplification and the learning network to meet business needs.
  • Identify new ways of working and evolving technology in the learning space.
  • Utilizing technology, create dashboards, reporting mechanisms, metrics, and associated business targets, for quality, operations, and R&D processes.
  • Assess, analyze, and implement solutions across the Learning Ecosystem to identify and eliminate waste through learning technologies.
  • Provide guidance and information on recommended learning technologies to enhance training material development, through AI, and other innovative technologies.
  • Act as a SME on new learning technologies and how these are impacted by regulations and Health Authority expectations.
  • Manage projects and training initiatives which directly support the Learning Network and GxP Initiatives, to effectively implement strategic business objectives in driving quality, compliance, and safety.
