JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Associate Director, you will be pivotal in building and maintaining strong client relationships. From day one, you’ll engage with our established clients in Europe and the US, helping them achieve their strategic goals.
We seek someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, ready to take on new challenges and responsibilities as they arise. This position reports directly to the VP & Head of Customer Engagement.
You will serve as the primary link between our clients and internal teams. You should have significant experience in account management (either from an agency or from a customer perspective), coupled with the ability to provide strategic insights that add value to client interactions. You will be focused on delivering innovative solutions that truly benefit our clients, working alongside your team with positivity and pragmatism.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Industry Expertise: 4+ years in pharmaceutical/healthcare advertising, consulting, or a global market/medical role within a large pharmaceutical or biotech company.
  • Management Experience: Proven management experience, either direct or through indirect reporting structures.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Pharma Communication: Strong understanding of pharmaceutical communication, whether on the promotional or medical side.
  • Cultural Fit: A positive attitude, sense of humor, and an international mindset.
  • Education: A Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is required and fluency in Danish is a clear advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture client relationships to ensure ijovi remains their preferred agency.
  • Project Coordination: Manage and oversee client projects from planning through to the delivery of results.
  • Client Satisfaction: Meet and exceed client expectations while managing tight deadlines.
  • Strategic Insight: Provide strategic input on how our solutions can enhance clients’ brand strategies and broader initiatives.
  • Budget Management: Ensure all projects are delivered on budget and within financial parameters.
  • Internal Leadership: Run internal meetings to keep projects on track, fostering a culture of cooperation and strong teamwork.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Account Managers and Scientific Consultants.
