Associate Director Interim Research & Evaluation

The role will programme manage the implementation of the ICS Research, Evaluation & Audit Strategy and operational delivery plan, working closely with the research teams in Gloucestershire Hospitals Trust and Gloucestershire Health and Care Trust as well as research active primary care staff. The purpose of the Associate Director post is to support the effective and efficient initiation and delivery of research and evaluation across the ICS, for the benefit of patients, the health and care system and local people. The post holder will also work with social care and VCSE colleagues to develop research capacity and involvement. The role will provide support to Research 4 Gloucestershire by leading on specific initiatives and task and finish groups.
This interim post will also deliver the nationally funded development of a vaccination How to Guide and provide day to day support to the delivery of the NHSE funded independent evaluation of the local vaccination programme. The Associate Director will further assist the ICS in being prepared for the delegation of public health vaccinations and screening services. The Post holder will provide programme management support to the development and opening of the University Arts, Health and Well-being centre. They will work with the project director and project team to establish a Research Hub and explore educational opportunities for the new centre
