Job Description
AECOM is seeking an Associate Director Landscape Architect for to join our ‘Buildings & Places’ team in our Sydney CBD Office.
This is an opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary practice focused on high-performing landscapes that tackle climate change, interconnectivity and mobility, smart growth, ecological systems, and natural resources.
We are looking for a passionate Landscape Architect who is energised by a collaborative design process that engages colleagues, clients, and the communities we serve.
Job Summary/Responsibilities
- Play an active role in the design process from concept through construction
- Preparing design graphics and technical drawings
- May coordinate design and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.
- May assist in the training assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.
- Under the direction of the Supervising Landscape Architect, may independently perform technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets
Qualifications
The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role.
- Qualified to degree level in Landscape Architecture, or similar Master’s degree;
- AILA Registered Landscape Architect or currently undertaking registration;
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Adobe Graphic suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), as well as MS Office Suite is required;
- Basic experience in 3D modelling packages (3D AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Lumion) is advantageous.
