QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

First and foremost, you share our passion for improving quality of life. You are a seasoned mechanical engineering professional with more than 12 years of experience, strong industry ties and demonstrated credibility in a design consulting environment. You will come to us with:

Responsibilities:

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Our Buildings Design business is expanding, creating an opportunity for an experienced Associate Technical Director to join our Building Services team in either Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane. You’ll focus on delivering projects across the building services and social infrastructure sector, particularly in upcoming health precincts and education design opportunities.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Innovative Design Leadership: Deliver and sign-off on full mechanical design from feasibility study to practical completion for major projects, ensuring the highest level of innovation and quality.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, influencing decisions, and promoting Arcadis.
  • Resource Allocation & Collaboration: Oversee resource allocation, collaborate with other design disciplines, and ensure the integrity of the overall design meets client expectations.
  • Industry Expertise: Understand our clients’ businesses and the VIC/NSW and potentially QLD industry to consolidate company and personal credibility.
  • Problem-Solving Excellence: Lead by example in technical issues, problem-solving, and fostering a culture of innovation within the team.
  • Trusted Advisory: Provide expertise, assist in technical decision-making, and offer creative solutions to project challenges.
  • Multidisciplinary Approach: Work seamlessly with all disciplines and architects, employing a multidisciplinary design thinking mindset to ensure comprehensive and integrated project solutions.
  • Proactive Mentorship: Be proactive in mentoring the team, fostering their growth and development.
