We are currently looking to hire an Associate Director in Non-Financial Risk Global Debt Markets.
The purpose of the role is to oversee the non-financial risk and conduct framework within the Global Debt Market business, supporting the business by owning and ensuring effective execution of global governance, assurance, conduct and non-financial risk standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in driving the conduct agenda for the Global Debt Market business
- Partner and support of the business when discharging their Front Office Supervisory responsibilities
- Provide independent counsel and stewardship to the business
- Partner with the Central NFR specialist teams to ensure consistent and effective embedding of conduct initiatives
- Review new policies and standards for and on behalf of the region
- Assist in managing the regional control framework including the execution of Octagon control checklists
- Assist in ensuring effective remediation actions in place for key issues for the business and track mitigation
- Assist in ensuring the regional execution of desk/control reviews, thematic reviews and other remediation/assurance work as required
- Attend and facilitate required control related governance forums.
- Tracking of Issues in Firm’s Reporting Tools - Support the Control Office and Front Office
- Management in the maintenance and upload of items into HELIOS and other relevant systems
- Act as an additional point of escalation for stakeholders front to back with respect to internal non-financial risk issues for the business
- Assist in Implementing and Overseeing Policies & Processes to mitigate the business’ top and emerging risks
Required skills/experience
- A good understanding of the Front to back processes within the Global Debt business
- Knowledge and experience of the E-Trading landscape
- Ability to engage and influence senior business and functional stakeholders.
- Experience in working with support functions
- Strong analytical skills required to perform in depth review of risk impact of change in existing business.
- Previous experience working in Global Markets and demonstrable ability to deliver complex projects with multiple stakeholders involved
- Ability to establish strong relationships with internal and external clients.
- Ability to challenge constructively and effect change.
