WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the organisation for an Associate Director (Band 8C). The post holder will assist the senior leadership team at NHS Elect, primarily to lead the career development programmes NHS Elect have in place across several regions. The Associate Director will be responsible for a wide portfolio of work across the organisation.
The Associate Director is a member of the NHS Elect senior team and is responsible for providing expert support to member organisations across the network within a complex portfolio. Employing a high degree of strategic awareness and an ability to read and work with local organisational cultures and leaders at every level is essential.
The post holder will lead the successful co-design, improvement and implementation of support, consultancy and learning and development programmes.
As the engagement lead, the post holder will be responsible for creating and maintaining a positive working relationship with colleagues within the team, across the organisation and with external stakeholders, from Board to ward. This will ensure that effective change is embedded in the organisations that the post holder is working with.
The post holder will lead the design of new products and innovations to deliver support programmes in line with organisational objectives.
