Description:

Location: Arkansas Tech University – Ozark Campus; Ozark, Arkansas

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of computer hardware, network systems and telephone systems to support an organization.
  • Knowledge of programming and other software.
  • Excellent customer service skills to provide appropriate support services to the campus community.
  • Ability to coordinate efforts and collaborate with other IT professionals.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to supervise employees and effectively lead the efforts of computer support services.
  • Ability to explain concepts and troubleshoot complex computer problems.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure needs for purposes of renovation and new construction.
  • Maintain computer hardware inventory and effectively schedule purchases to ensure current technologies are available.
  • Other duties as assigned.
