Description:

Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. (Strategic Customer Group, SCG) is recruiting for an Associate Director of Marketing Access Marketing, Pulmonary Hypertension role located in Titusville, NJ. This role will be part of the SCG Value, Access, and Pricing (VAP) team supporting the Pulmonary Hypertension organization.
Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. provides account management and customer support services to key health care customers, including hospital systems and group purchasing organizations, leading health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, and government health care institutions. The company also provides contract management, logistics and supply chain functions for the major Johnson & Johnson franchises.
The Associate Director, Market Access Marketing, will support the Group Director in building a coordinated and overarching SCG market access and reimbursement strategy for brands within the Pulmonary Hypertension franchise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with the in-line brand teams to ensure that targeted strategies, priorities and tactics are aligned to overall brand strategies as well as the needs of the Strategic Customer Group.
  • Ensure that all SAM (strategic account management) teams are supported with the right training, materials (PVP, PIE decks, DSA information and informational items to allow for timely or continued access, reimbursement.
  • Build credibility and establish strong and highly functional partnerships with brand partners, account teams and strategic customer group functional leads
  • Develop and align broader SCG and supporting organizational partners on Pulmonary Hypertension brand access goals and market & competitive aspirations.
  • Lead annual market access launch readiness strategy as well as LRR (launch readiness reviews, MARR (market access readiness reviews) and post-launch updates and reporting.
  • Create and lead SAM/VAP exchange forums to collect, handle and share customer/market insights; translate customer insights effective and actionable strategy and tactics
  • Build and execute thoughtful training plan for SAM payer and institutional account teams, ensuring improved proficiencies and preparedness for launches and in-market events, legislative changes, and competitive responses
  • Help support SCG/VAP National Meeting / Fast Start meetings / New Hire Training for Strategic Account Management team
  • Drive SCG partner requirements across the Integrated Evidence Team (IET) to ensure data generation plan enhances value proposition and support future indications
  • Synthesis of Brand, Competitive, Clinical & RWE, Payer, Government and patient information to formulate market-leading and sustainable product access and reimbursement.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • BA/BS required with an MBA preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Candidate must demonstrate strategy, marketing, innovation, collaboration, and analytical skills as well as strong understanding of healthcare market dynamics and ability to identify market trends that impact business goals.
  • Must be able to lead and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Must possess the ability to work effectively in a matrix and unstructured environment.
  • Interpersonal flexibility to effectively interact with a broad range of personnel across levels and functions is required.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills required, including ability to defend logical business arguments, influence without authority and facilitate consensus-building is required.
  • Strong project management skills required.
  • Understanding of the U.S. Payer System and key government legislation that is impacting pricing, access and reimbursement across the market ecosystem.

Preferred:

  • Market access, in-line brand, V&E or account management or related experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. payer and reimbursement market.
  • Prior Pulmonary Hypertension or related therapeutic area experience.

Other:

  • This position is based in Titusville, NJ and will require up to 10% travel (domestic).

The anticipated base pay range for this position is 135000 to 232300.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
