New overhead lines, underground cables, substations, battery storage and subsea links are all needed – and quickly. AECOM Transmission and Distribution is currently supporting the network development which will underpin grid modernisation. READY TO PUSH THE LIMITS OF WHAT’S POSSIBLE?

Here’s what we’re looking for:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Professionally qualified in an electrical engineering, power engineering or equivalent subject at HNC, HND, degree and/or masters (or equivalent) level.
• Chartered (CEng) or working towards gaining Chartership with a relevant institution.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:

• Ability to understand and communicate customer requirements, lead technical discussions with customers and develop client relationships.
• Able to work to deadlines under pressure whilst maintaining the safety, quality and engineering integrity of the solution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; experienced in creating and presenting technical reports; and responding to clients’ technical questions.
