Description:
TRANSMISSION AND DISTRIBUTION
We have a tremendously challenging programme in front of us in the run up to achieving 2030 net zero targets. New overhead lines, underground cables, substations, battery storage and subsea links are all needed – and quickly. AECOM Transmission and Distribution is currently supporting the network development which will underpin grid modernisation. Here’s what we’re looking for:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Professionally qualified in an electrical engineering, power engineering or equivalent subject at HNC, HND, degree and/or masters (or equivalent) level.
- Chartered (CEng) or working towards gaining Chartership with a relevant institution.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:
- Ability to understand and communicate customer requirements, lead technical discussions with customers and develop client relationships.
- Able to work to deadlines under pressure whilst maintaining the safety, quality and engineering integrity of the solution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; experienced in creating and presenting technical reports; and responding to clients’ technical questions.
