ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Developing Internal Stories:
- Proactively identify and craft engaging stories that highlight the work and successes of various teams within BioPharma ClinOps.
- Collaborate with different departments to gather insights and translate complex information into accessible content for a diverse audience.
CHANNEL BEST PRACTICES:
- Act as a champion for effective use of communication channels, continuously seeking to optimize reach and engagement.
- Encourage the use of standard methodologies for internal and external social media, intranet, email, and other communication platforms, to ensure consistent and effective messaging.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Atleast 10 years in internal communications, corporate communications within a complex organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information in a clear and compelling manner.
- Strong storytelling skills, with an eye for detail and an ability to turn complex information into engaging narratives.
- Proficiency with digital communication tools and platforms, including content management systems and social media.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with senior leadership.
- Project management skills, with a capacity to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software, and communication management platforms.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Knowledge of the regulatory and compliance environment affecting internal communications within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Experience in event planning and execution.
- Video production and editing skills.
Responsibilities:
The Associate Director, Scientific Communications and Engagement, reporting to the Director of Communication and Business Support, should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in communication, demonstrating a strong track record in internal communication, external communication, public relations, and branding. This role will work in the Communications team and will be responsible for creating compelling content that builds and strengthens the narrative of BioPharma Clinical Operations.
