• Preventive Health SA – Aboriginal Health and Health Equity – Screening Team
• Salary: $127,859 – MAS3 – Full Time / Term Contract up to 20 February 2026

Overview:

• Responsible for the strategic planning, supervision and management of the Screening Team
• Significantly contribute to the implementation of the National Preventive Health Strategy 2021–2030 targets related to cancer screening and the Skin Cancer Prevention Partnership - A Framework for Action and the National Strategy for the Elimination of Cervical Cancer in Australia.
• Coordinate the development and maintenance of formal partnership arrangements with other State government agencies, Non-Government Organisations, private businesses and Local Government congruent with the National Preventive Health Strategy and Skin Cancer Prevention Partnership
• Significantly contribute to the development of strategic advice to other government agencies on behalf of the Minister for Health and Wellbeing, relating to the protection, preservation and promotion of health.
• Provide strategic leadership for the implementation of the SA Cervix Screening program and other population screening initiatives.
