Description:
Are you ready to lead the way in patient safety? As an Associate Director, Senior Patient Safety Scientist, you will be at the forefront of reviewing safety data and related documents for potential safety issues. You will work closely with the Global Safety Physician (GSP) and (Associate) PV Scientist, authoring and leading PV input to safety documents and regulatory reports. This role is a unique opportunity to present safety data and analyses in key meetings, making a real impact on patient safety.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
In this role, you will lead proactive pharmacovigilance and risk management planning for complex products, including the preparation of safety aspects of Global Risk Management Plans and Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies (REMS). You will lead PS activities of cross-functional project teams for developmental compounds and/or marketed products. You will also have the opportunity to train and mentor junior members of the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- A life sciences/pharmacy/nursing degree
- Demonstrated Patient Safety and/or Clinical/ Drug Development experience
- Fluent in written and verbal English
- Advanced knowledge of PV regulations
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- MD/MSc/PhD in scientific discipline
- Intermediate understanding of epidemiology
