Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Trivandi is an ambitious, fast-moving and continually evolving organisation and, as the latest addition to the company, The Bulb is in an exciting period of growth. We’re looking for a Sustainability Associate Director to play an important role in supporting our operations globally. This position will have a voice in shaping and developing The Bulb’s growth and will be pivotal in supporting the Director of Sustainability in growing the team and client base globally. It requires someone who has sustainability expertise, is an inspirational leader who can support the development of the team and meet and exceed our client expectations. Above all, it requires someone that is dedicated, excited by the opportunity, has a great sense of humour and relishes a challenge.
This role is primarily based in the UK with the expectation of at least two days per week in the London office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Management
- Manage a team of Sustainability Consultants on a day-to-day basis
- Focus on building the knowledge and expertise of identified members of the team, mentoring/guiding their development
- Work closely with the Director of Sustainability to ensure our Sustainability Consultants are well supported and achieving their client deliverables and project deadlines, ensuring a high standard of work as expected from The Bulb
- Manage any freelance consultants on a day-to-day basis, as required
- Assist the Director of Sustainability with headhunting talent and carrying out interviews, as required
- Oversee resourcing, deadlines and processes
Client Management
- Take ownership of multiple client projects
- Create and develop strategic and operational plans to meet client deliverables, ensuring a high standard of work as expected from The Bulb
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Identify opportunities for growth within our existing and new client base
- Managing projects, ensuring excellence in delivery, and engaging with senior stakeholders
- Supporting work-winning activities, including bids, innovation, and elevating the company’s profile in the market
Strategy Development
- Carry out gap analysis and/or materiality assessments
- Work with our clients to identify sustainability hotspots and create sustainability strategies that work in practice
- Develops and manages operational initiatives with measurable outcomes
- Lead business development and transformation for our clients
- Lead certifications, reporting, modelling and regulations including ISO’s, Ecovadis, SBTi, ESOS etc
- Lead carbon footprint measurement and decarbonisation strategies
Delivering sustainability assessment and consultancy services
Other
Represent Trivandi and The Bulb across the industry through speaking engagements and PR opportunities with a view to increasing both your profile and the company
- Attend industry events, webinars and workshops, when required
- Keep up-to-date with sustainability developments and industry news
- Oversee Trivandi’s internal ESG strategy
