ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a relevant field; certifications or qualifications, such as PMP/PMI, ITIL, or Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Expert or Azure DevOps Expert.
- Eight years of experience in enterprise information technology operations leading teams in a university, government, healthcare setting or comparable environment
- Strong understanding of modern infrastructure technologies including data centers, networks, cloud and security
- Strong understanding of network design and secure architectures
- Proven success with agile project management software development methodologies
- Knowledge and understanding of emerging trends in the use of education technologies, networks, distance education initiatives and diverse computer platforms in education
- Experience developing and leading high functioning teams, including the ability to engage and motivate staff and teams
- Strong financial acumen, including financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting experience
- Experience negotiating with service providers, establishing, and monitoring service level agreements
- Proven commitment to equity, diversity and inclusivity
- Results oriented and the ability to build a high-performance culture
- Must be an articulate and effective communicator with the ability to produce high-quality, persuasive communications material
- Excellent conflict resolution skills with strong ability to exercise judgement, tact, discretion, and determination
