ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctoral degree in Biomedical Science or a relevant field.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in the biotech/pharma industry.
- Deep understanding of clinical research and advanced imaging modalities, including PET/CT, CT, and MRI.
- Demonstrated experience in artificial intelligence technologies for medical imaging analyses.
- Consistent track record of supporting cross-functional projects in a global matrix organization.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and partner management skills.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- We are seeking an Associate Director to join our Cancer Biomarker Development team within Oncology R&D. In this role, you will be responsible for driving translational medicine (TM) strategies by demonstrating clinical radiology data for biomarker development in Oncology. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to find opportunities, refine problems, and optimize the use of radiology data alongside other data sets (such as clinical, genomics, proteomics, liquid biopsies, and pathological imaging data) to enable precision medicine and advance our pipeline through purpose-fit biomarkers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and address gaps and opportunities to harness radiology data, delivering unique insights on drug efficacy and patient response.
- Lead or support multiple cross-functional and external collaborations aligned with oncology strategic goals, collaborating with radiologists, data scientists, engineers, and Translational Medicine teams to enhance value for drug project teams.
- Co-lead partnerships to assess technologies and influence investment in data generation or licensing AI models for medical imaging by articulating the vision and impact across the clinical oncology portfolio aligned with oncology TA strategic goals.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between TM, clinical, data science, and global clinical study teams, including the preparation of presentations, speeches, and other communication materials.
- Build and maintain agreed ways of working and relationships and collaborate with different internal line functions and external collaborators.
- Develop, maintain, and apply ongoing knowledge and awareness of trends, standard methodologies, and new developments in medical imaging and multi-modal data integration.
