The successful candidate, reporting to the Manager of Equipment Test Engineering, will play a key role in providing engineering support and services for Redlen’s internal manufacturing test systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
- 1-2 years of experience in electrical engineering, including internships or co-op placements.
- Familiarity with CAD tools for circuit design (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical).
- Basic knowledge of embedded systems and microcontroller programming is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and create electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective technical documentation.
- Proficiency in using testing and measurement instruments such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Familiarity with software tools such as JMP and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 CAD

The salary range posted above reflects the minimum and maximum for new hire salaries, taking into account factors such as job-related skills and expertise, relevant training and education, and business needs. It is common for ranges to span multiple levels in order to attract top talent across experience levels. It is uncommon to be hired at the top of the range; however, in exceptional cases where a candidate’s skills and expertise significantly exceed the role’s requirements, we may consider offering a higher salary. Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing, developing, and testing electrical circuits and systems to meet project specifications.
- Support the development and maintenance of testing procedures and protocols for new and existing products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with electronic components, wiring, and other electrical equipment.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including schematics, test plans, and work instructions.
- Conduct tests, gather data, and analyze results to ensure product compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Provide technical support to production teams during the assembly and testing of electrical systems.
