Description:
JOB SUMMARY
We currently are looking for talented candidates to join Unifiedcomms as an Associate Engineer.
As an Associate Engineer, you will be an active member in the technical operation team to implement project and provide technical support for our production systems. As part of our professional team, you will be providing support to our pre-sales team on demo and POC. You will also be actively involve in evaluating and testing new solutions. You will look forward to having lots of customers’ interaction during your course of work.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma in Telecommunications/Information/Engineering.
- Fresh graduates with relevant diploma and outstanding results are encouraged to apply.
ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES AND SKILLS
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Skilled in Linux and Windows.
- Experience with networking protocols like TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, DHCP, ARP and ICMP.
- Experience with setting up and maintaining Firewall, Router, Switches and Wi-Fi AP.
- Experience with tools such as Wireshark for analyzing network traffic and diagnosing issues
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, KVM, Hyper-V
- Experience with Database such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Familiar with major brands of serversand storage devices.
- Knowledge in voice solution such as PBX, Contact Centre, VoIP will be advantageous
- Knowledge in cloud solution such as AWS, Azure, GCS will be advantageous.
- Self-Starter and independent.

Responsibilities:
- Coordination, installation, configuration, verification and commissioning of project.
- Post-sales technical support with rotating shifts on 24x7 standby support phone duty.
- Perform administration, backup/recovery, performance/fault management on production systems.
- Pre-sales support on preparing and presenting demo and proof of concept.
- Perform evaluation and testing of new solution.
- Report generation for business and operation analytic.
