We are currently seeking an Associate, eRisk Quant, FX & EM Rates eTrading to join their team in London.
The role holder will also ensure the HSBC values are present in everything they do, both individually and as an organisation. Responsibilities:

  • Research and drive the delivery of electronic pricing models and algos for FX Swaps, STIRT & EM Rates products.
  • Research and drive the delivery of risk management models and algos for FX Swaps, STIRT & EM Rates products.
  • Development of market execution strategies on electronically executable STIRs products.
  • Ensuring integrity of data used by eRisk team for quantitative analysis.
  • Implementation of performance simulation of market making strategies within the eRisk back-testing platform.
  • Analyses of market execution performance within the hedging strategy.
  • Analyses of client flow assigning systematic value to trades.
  • Ensuring high-quality of deliveries.

Requirements

  • Possesses a proven background in mathematics or related field would be highly beneficial.
  • Proven experience of quantitative work within the financial sector.
  • Coding skills in Java, Python and q.
  • Experience coordinating IT teams to ensure implementation of deliverables
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology related to an electronic trading business.
  • Knowledge and understanding of FX and Fixed-Income products.

The location for this role is London.
