Job Description

TEAM SUMMARY

Global Controllership is responsible for establishing Visa’s global accounting policies, providing technical guidance to the business, processing accounting transactions globally and consolidating all Visa entities’ financial results.
The Controllership Data and Process Excellence (CDPE) team designs and builds critical tools, advances capabilities and innovation of business intelligence and automates business processes for the Controllership functions. Along with enhancing the tools and control processes, we aim to promote data governance, process efficiency and reporting accuracy within Global Controllership.

WHAT AN ASSOCIATE FINANCE ANALYST (DATA & PROCESS EXCELLENCE) DOES AT VISA:

CDPE is seeking an Associate Finance Analyst to enhance and create efficient tools and applications for optimum data and process efficiency across Controllership functions. The Analyst should be able to clearly and confidently articulate solutions, methodologies and frameworks within the team and to partners, who are both technical and non-technical.

• Degree in Finance
• 1-3 years relevant working experience
• Skills in data analysis and experience using one or more of the following languages and platforms for data manipulation, extraction and automation: Python / M (PowerQuery) / DAX / PowerApps
• Experience in using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview or similar platforms for creating dashboards and reports to facilitate management decision-making
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and global team environment, collaborating with stakeholders across different functions and regions
• Strong communication, presentation and problem-solving skills
• An eye for detail and attention to accuracy
• Self-starter who can responsibly advance work and is comfortable making sound judgement call
