Responsibilities:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Associate to join our Financial Institutions (Asia) team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful change in emerging markets. As an integral part of our team, you’ support deal structuring and execution for new clients through desk research and site visits. You focus on supporting Investment Officers in designing new and innovative transactions, allowing you to develop into an all-round investment professional in a dynamic environment.
This position offers the flexibility to work on diverse Financial Institutions transactions across various countries in Asia and also other regions, adapting to capacity needs.
Specific tasks include:
- Preparing market and financial analyses of existing and new clients, sectors and countries.
- Writing financing proposals and change requests, and participating in meetings with the credit department and the investment committee.
- Preparing and actively participating in due diligence trips.
- Embarking on (frequent) travels for due diligence and transaction execution, embracing new cultures and perspectives.
- Building relationships with clients on an operational working level.
- Providing support to the Investment Officer throughout all stages of transaction execution, including contracting.
- Serving as a knowledgeable sparring partner for different team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
