Associate: Financial Restructuring and Insolvency

THE SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Admission in Australia (or Common Law qualified and willing to qualify in Australia)

• Transactional and advisory work – involvement in commercial discussions, negotiation, and documentation of restructuring transactions.
• Advising a wide range of clients including (i) on the creditor/investor side, private credit funds and alternate lenders; (ii) on the debtor side, large multinational corporates; and (iii) insolvency practitioner accountants on formal insolvencies and restructurings.
• Drafting documents such as deeds of company arrangement, share and asset sale agreements and other documents supplementary to a sale process.
• Client facing role, working as a part of a team to support delivering to clients.
• Conducting and overseeing legal research for a wide range of matters.
