Role Summary: The Fleet Management Associate holds the responsibilities of overseeing the Delivery Assistants in their day-to-day operational assignments, analyzing work processes based on performance reports and recommending improvements, leading coordination with other teams and departments, and reporting relevant matters to the management.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Provide leadership to Delivery Assistants and resolve issues or concerns faced by them
- Work closely with Delivery Assistants in planning their routes to ensure professional, hassle free and efficient delivery
- Monitor day-to-day operations and team’s performance; provide reports to the management
- Communicate customer issues with the operations team and devise ways to improve the customer experience
- Review and analyze work processes and work schedule information (e.g., exception reports, volume delivered/hour, km driven, hours worked, accidents, etc.) to identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve performance
- Help develop strategies to achieve performance goals, and identify opportunities within the ecommerce industry.
- Support inside and on road operations with any additional task that maybe required
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in logistics and supply chain management
- Minimum 1 years of fleet management or supervisory experience, required.Experience in or exposure to logistics and ecommerce, preferred.
