Are you interested in joining a team of hard-working analysts dedicated to the professional development of the Water Boards’ workforce? The State Water Resources Control Board’s Training Services Team is excited to announce an opening for an Analyst. This is a great opportunity to expand your skillset learning about State contracting, procurement, budgeting and more while providing support to the vision of the Water Boards – a sustainable California made possible by clean water and water availability for both human uses and environmental resource protection.
Training Services works on topics including the technical skills, leadership skills, interpersonal skills and equity-related skills people need to thrive and be effective at the Boards. Training Services is part of the Office of Research, Planning and Performance, along with other groups that support the water sector through economic and policy analysis, emergency management and climate change strategy development.
Training Services is looking for a person with excellent communication skills who is organized, detail-oriented, highly motivated, customer service oriented and resourceful.
This position is located at 1001 I Street, 13th Floor, Sacramento, CA 95814, right in the heart of Downtown next to light rail stations and other public transportation. You would have to follow telework policies; these may change but currently require you to be in the office approximately 2 days a week.

SALARY INFORMATION – CALHR SALARY RULES ALLOW APPOINTMENT AT THE ENTRANCE RATE (CAL. CODE REGS., TIT. 2, § 599.673) OF A CLASSIFICATION. FOR CLASSES WITH ALTERNATE RANGES, PLACEMENT IS BASED ON EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE.
