Description:
JOB OVERVIEW:
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for assisting in providing support to Team Schein Members (“TSMs”) and Human Resources Business Partners (“HRBPs”) on day-to-day transactional administration, reporting and support on Human Resources (“HR”) matters in areas including talent acquisition, benefits, compensation, employee relations, performance management, and training.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems, such as Workday, preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office tools
- Discretion in working with highly confidential and/or sensitive data

WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Typically, 1 to 3 years of related professional experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
- Typically, a bachelor’s degree or global equivalent in related discipline
- Possessing or pursuing a professional HR Certification (such as the PHR) preferred
Responsibilities:
- Support TSMs on basic HR query resolutions.
- Support HRBPs with outreach and follow up with the TSMs, as needed.
- Generate Workday reports and follow up on pending transactions.
- Assist in supporting onboarding and new hire orientation activities.
- Assist in supporting recruiting and staffing processes.
- Support HRBPs with TSM status change letters pertaining to job changes, promotions, compensation adjustments, etc…
- Create and maintain TSM files to ensure compliance with OFCCP guidelines, as applicable.
- Work with HRBPs and Leave Partners on Leave of Absence processes, as applicable.
- Assist in supporting Company Wellness and Community Service activities and events, as applicable.
- Support roundtable processes.
- Assist in coordinating the TSM exit process.
