Job Description
We are currently searching for a Associate Human Resources Business Partner to align business objectives in partnership with our Garland, Utah, Distribution Center Human Resource team. Reporting to our Director of Human Resources, this position is designed to be exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and will involve a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance and training. The position also requires the ability to think multiple steps ahead, prepare for potential problems and escalate issues when appropriate, and juggle competing deadlines effectively. Applicants should have a strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations and compliance, including FLSA requirements for exempt status. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent HR management skills, a thorough understanding of HR best practices and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
GOT THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE? HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience
- Proven experience in a Associate Human Resources Business Partner role with a broad understanding of HR functions and best practices
- Ability to work on-site at our Garland, Utah, distribution center
- Self-motivated and able to work in an autonomous yet collaborative environment
- Demonstrated customer service focus and ability to build relationships successfully
- Enthusiasm for curiosity and a continuous learning mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and think clearly under pressure
- Highly organized, attention to detail and excellent follow-through required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
