Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative and project support to one or more functional areas of Human Resources, such as recruitment and staffing, personnel records, employee relations, benefits administration, compensation administration, payroll, training, etc. Assists with employee activities/programs.
  • Facilitates and/or processes various applications, employment, enrollment, pay change, informational, and other confidential records and forms. May have responsibility for maintaining paper or electronic files.
  • Responds to routine questions on human resources policies and procedures. Triages more complex questions/issues to the appropriate staff.
  • May assist in sourcing, recruiting, screening, interviewing, checking references, making offers, coordinating relocation, and coordinating orientation for internal/external applicants and new employees in order to fill current or expected job vacancies. Assists with ensuring compliance to company policies, practices, and state and federal regulatory requirements.
  • May assist in the administration and maintenance of group benefit programs.
  • May assist with administration and organization of company training and educational programs. Assists with monitoring and reporting on training.
  • May perform duties involving employee communications.
  • May compile statistics for management’s use and/or assists in preparing reports for internal or external use.
  • Builds basic knowledge of employment law, various human resources functions, and current trends.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
