RPS is looking for an Associate Hydrogeologist to join our Water Sciences Team based in the UK.

Responsibilities:
As a specialist within our growing UK Water Sciences section and wider Environmental Compliance and Ground Engineering team, you will take up a leading position working on a wide range of projects requiring hydrogeological input including into major infrastructure, built development and water resources/environment studies, often covering both environmental and design elements.
The team works mainly on UK schemes but also supports international projects. With offices across the UK, you will have the choice to be based out of the office most conveniently located for you, working on a hybrid basis. Duties include:
- Plan, review and manage own projects ensuring client requirements and deadlines are met in accordance with the QA system
- Take accountability for own projects, monitoring both performance and finances
- Quality control the output of projects in accordance with the approved QA system including preparing project plans and fee agreements
- Ensure quality advice is provided and work meets the required standard
- Contributing to the development of the team business including work winning and marketing
Provide weekly/monthly reports as requested by the Technical Director
- Support client management in conjunction with Directors
- Responsible for signing off time sheets/ holiday requests of staff responsible for
- Responsible for interfacing with other section heads and Directors to ensure appropriate use and deployment of staff and resources to meet the team’s operational and project needs Undertake appraisals and development of any direct staff reports
- Supervise and support junior members of staff where relevant
- Ensure all project activities comply with UK environmental regulations and standards
- Engage in continuous learning to keep abreast of the latest advancements in hydrogeology and related fields.
