The Shared Platforms Operations team is a pivotal force within Group Functions, driving the success of Flutter’s in-house strategic platforms that power multiple brands across the group. This team not only crafts and steers the co-creation strategy and vision for these platforms but also ensures seamless divisional alignment across various areas. They are the champions of Inner Source, the co-creation strategy within strategic platforms, empowering our brands to innovate and excel across the Flutter ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you’ll be supporting the Inner Source process, focusing on key artifacts and quality promoters and indicators. You’ll collaborate closely with senior team members and stakeholders to ensure that Group-level guidelines and principles for the global Inner Source approach are fully leveraged within the Shared Platforms Operations area. Beyond maintaining standards, you’ll have the opportunity to innovate, playing a part in refining and evolving the Inner Source practices, helping shape the future of how we work and collaborate across the organization.

What you’ll b e doing

  • Support Inner Source Implementation : Assist in the implementation and day-to-day management of the engineering co-creation model within the organization.
  • Contribute to the Governance Framework : Help in the development and upkeep of the inner source governance framework and all documentation needed.
  • Assist in Vision and Roadmap Execution : Contribute to the creation and execution of a strategic roadmap for the inner source model.
  • Support Strategy Enhancement : Work closely with senior team members to support improvements to the Group’s inner source strategy.
  • Learn Standards and Tools : Gain understanding of (and apply) the standards, artefacts, tooling, and automation practices required for an effective co-creation model.
  • Conduct Research : Help research and analyze operating models to support the inner source implementation.
  • Collaborate on Transition Efforts : Work alongside different divisions to support constant change adoption offering assistance with training and process assessments.
  • Engage with Stakeholders : Act as a supportive advocate for Inner Source approach, engaging with internal and divisional stakeholders.
  • Participate in Knowledge Sharing : Take an active role in the inner source community, fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams.

  • Technical Proficiency: Good software engineering technical understanding with preferably at least 1 year of experience in software delivery/engineering.
  • Effective Communicator: Displays a clear and structured communication, eager to learn how to adjust style to different audiences.
  • Adaptability : Ready to face new challenges, adapt to different audiences and eager to learn quickly and manage various tasks effectively.
  • Collaborative : Enjoys working with others and builds relationships across teams and divisions in an open and transparent manner.
