Description:

Core Functional Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to research activities to build an understanding of the trends, customer behaviors, major players and possible partners in the region
  • Build an understanding of DET’s regional operation model
  • Support the decision making on operating model by conducting basic analysis (e.g. cost-benefit, feasibility) under close supervision
  • Support the documentation of detailed regional operating model by updating organization structures, identifying processes and proposing objectives
  • Assist the development of regional business-to-business marketing strategy by conducting analysis (e.g. trend analysis, market research) and drafting related documents
  • Handle the data collection process in alignment with DET procedures and standards for regional business-to-business marketing performance analysis
  • Provide support to market research activities on possible travel & trade organizations (e.g. travel agencies, airlines) to develop partnerships
  • Handle necessary logistics arrangements for meetings with possible regional travel & trade organizations (e.g. schedule meetings, arrange calls, deliver reports, etc.)
  • Assist in the contract development and material gathering activities to support regional travel & trade partnership agreements
  • Participate in the development of regional event calendar which includes exhibitions, roadshows, trips, etc.
  • Communicate with providers (e.g. venue owners, collateral development companies, caterers, transportation providers) to collect information during in-market event (e.g. road shows, tourism sales calls, marketing events) planning activities
  • Coordinate with logistics providers for in-market events and ensure that implementation activities are aligned with event plans
  • Assist the development of in-market event related materials (e.g. presentations, collateral, analysis) to delivery of events
  • Coordinate with relevant internal parties during in-Dubai marketing activities on day-to-day basis to arrange the operational aspects of trips
  • Follow up with third party providers and agencies to collect the documents required for the selection process
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to collect information requested by the third-party providers (e.g. consultants, agencies)

QUALIFICATIONS

University/College Degree in a related field
0-3 years of working experience
