As the Associate Investment Specialist you will get the opportunity to work within a varied role in which you will support Investment Specialist activity across Fixed Income including Public and Private Credit, and Emerging Market Debt. We are looking for a self-starter to join the team and play a key part in supporting the growth of Fixed Income.
Given the focus on Fixed Income as a growth area in abrdn, there is an opportunity to take on real responsibilities from the outset and build profile in the role. The role holder could be based in Edinburgh or London and is expected to report into one of the senior Investment Specialists.

Key Responsibilities

• You will work with the Investment teams, Client Group, Product and Operations preparing messaging and materials (monthly commentaries, pitch decks, RFPs etc).
• Analysing competitors and client demand
• Responding to technical client and sales queries.
• Responsibile for aspects of Fixed Income business management, including P&L oversight and queries and preparation of internal presentation materials.
