My client is a global credit hedge fund looking to hire an Associate level Software Developer to focus on their liquid and illiquid credit business in London.
This successful candidate will be responsible for building solutions associated with the Loan, Long/Short Credit, and Credit investment strategies. They will be taking the lead in multiple projects and will work directly with key business investment and technology stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
- Computer Science degree from a top-tier University
- 7 – 10 years of experience in the Investment management, public or private credit, alternative investment management
- Business Analysis experience
- Product knowledge of Bank Loans, bonds, credit derivatives, FX forwards
- Experience with Polaris, Recon or SecMaster
- Strong C# and .NET proficiency
- Excellent MS-SQL query composition skills
- Experience with with cloud-based technologies, specifically Microsoft Azure services

- Take ownership of the lifecycle of objective critical applications, including business analysis, design and architecture, development and deployment
- Manage relationships and delivery of solutions to Portfolio Management, Operations, Compliance and Quantitative Risk
- Collaborate with internal software development team and application vendors to develop solutions and integrate vendor products to deliver enterprise-wide software solutions
