Responsibilities

• Works on small to medium projects to develop data applications as a team member
• Assists other data engineers on support and development
• Collaborates with internal stakeholders
• Understanding of relational database concepts with a solid knowledge of star schema, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Tuning, OLAP, Big Data technologies, SnowFlake
• Intermediate to advanced skills in python, Pytorch,tensorflow and other deep learning frameworks
• Understanding of Hadoop ecosystem
• Experience in Cerner or EPIC is bonus
• Experience with cloud technologies is a plus
• Expert in working with large databases, BI applications, data quality, and performance tuning
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work individually and in a broader geographically dispersed team
• Understanding of data gathering, inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling/diagramming techniques
• Willing to be on call to troubleshoot problems during off hours with experience in Data Platform Support
• Remote eligible.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Medical, or Business discipline or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years relevant experience required
• 2+ Years preferred
• 0-2 years experience with scripting(Shell, Python)
• 0-2 years of experience in Data Platform Support

Pay Range
$35.28 - $51.16 /hou
