Responsibilities:
- Provide first line response for users requiring assistance with information technology issues and problems.
- Respond to requests for technical assistance through a ticketing system and in some cases, by phone and email.
- Track issues to resolution updating the ticketing system with actions performed and resolution of issue.
- Escalate more complicated problems to appropriate team members, in the Applications or Infrastructure groups.
- Perform hardware setup and repair for new and existing Medspeed sites that include laptops, handheld scanners and phones; may involve limited travel.
- Troubleshoot reported problems with scanners, including overseeing the shipment of damaged scanners to repair facilities and ensuring replacement scanners are provided to facilities that return damaged equipment.
- Stay current with practices and software relating to IT Help Desks.
- Build and nurture a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.
- Maintain a clean, organized and secure room in which IT equipment is stored.All other job-related duties as assigned.
