ASSOCIATE LAWYER POSITION

QUALIFICATIONS

· Legal Research, Legal Writing, and Contract drafting skills
· Knowledge of Business Law, Real Estate Law, and Wills, Estates, and Family Trusts
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Litigation and negotiation experience
· Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills
· Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
· Member of the Bar in British Columbia
Pay: The willingness to build a client base and the confidence to do so are essential. Compensation is directly correlated to performance; this position is commission-based and offers flexibility and the potential for high earnings based on client billings.
Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-time

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Lawyer at English Bay Law Corporation. The Associate Lawyer will be responsible for providing legal advice and services in one or more areas such as Litigation, Business Law, Finance, and Estates.
· Daily tasks may include client consultations
· Drafting legal documents and preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
· Represent clients in legal proceedings and administrative hearings.
· Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients.
· Attend court and settlement conferences as needed.
· Maintain regular communication with clients and keep them informed about their cases.
