ASSOCIATE LEAD SCRIPTER

As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for an Associate Lead Scripter to join the team and help us in crafting the high caliber games our fans have come to expect.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Good leadership skills and 3-years experience on management position
  • Great organizational skills and can clearly communicate requirements, feedback and ideas
  • Good analytical skills to identify risks, bottlenecks and opportunities for parallelization/delegation of work
  • Self-motivated and capable to work independently
  • Technical designer (visual scripting) or scripting/programming background
  • A professional level of written and spoken English*

NICE TO HAVES

  • D&D genre experience is a plus
  • Programming skills in C, C++, lua or c#

Responsibilities:

  • Align with director, scripting leads and producer on goals, priorities and deadlines
  • Proactively flag issues and risks with upper management
  • Seek to continuously improve our development processes and efficiency/speed of implementation and iteration
  • Be a point of contact for Cross-departmental communication on behalf of Scripting team
  • Grow the skills of your local team and address deficiencies where needed.
  • Be a gatekeeper of quality through peer reviews of your team members
  • Remain hands-on and work on scripting tasks
  • Organize scrums and 1on1s with your team
  • Participate in hiring and onboarding of new team members
