ASSOCIATE LECTURER

• A PhD candidate in Technology Education with concentration in Engineering Graphics & Design (EGD) with experience in FET phase Engineering Graphics and Design, and evidence of research and knowledge of EGD as a school subject.
• Evidence of PhD candidature is a requirement and at least one year applicable practical, teaching and research experience in schools and/or University.
• Ability to communicate complex or conceptual ideas to those with limited knowledge and understanding of engineering concepts and functions.
• Evidence of teaching at university level as a tutor is essential.
• Preference will be given to suitably qualified candidates from designated groups as defined in the Employment Equity Act 55 of 1998.

• Develop research agenda, publish in accredited scholarly journals.
• Supervision of honours students research projects to completion.
• Contribute to the values of the school: teaching excellence, inclusivity, digital innovation, student success, etc.
• An ability and willingness to work in teams.
Remuneration: Dependent on qualifications and relevant experience.
