Description:

Course Description
Students will integrate management theory with practice-based knowledge and skills necessary to succeed as a manager in their chosen career. They will use concepts, applications, and frameworks including their broadened awareness of social, political, and environmental influences to identify and solve authentic business problems. Students will undertake business-focused research and apply academic knowledge and skills to produce three items of assessment which will prepare their function as a business professional upon graduation.
You will guide them through engaging activities with the textbook and the substantial reading list, as well as working through digital activities on the course learning website.
This course features a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) experience. Students will use their knowledge and skills through a real or simulated workplace context and will receive valuable feedback from the industry as well as academic feedback.

Job Requirements

  • A Ph.D or Master’s Degree in Business from a reputable university or professional qualification in related fields with a focus on Organisational Experience
  • At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level is preferred
  • 5 years of relevant work experience will be an added advantage
  • Must be available to conduct a weekly 3-hour lecture for a period of 9 weeks
  • Must be available to teach classes during the day between 8.30am - 6.30pm

SIM-RMIT is looking for associates who are dedicated, highly motivated and possess a strong passion for teaching and shaping the minds of the young generation. Candidates must be able to handle a sizeable class, manage assessment marking and provide constructive feedback to students within a given timeline. Associates will work closely under the guidance of the course coordinator based in the partner university.
