Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Associate Mammographer to join our team in Kettering Breast Screening Unit.
The successful candidate will have experience of working within a breast unit and possess an accredited Assistant Practitioner in mammography / Associate Mammographer qualification (training will be considered for candidates who don’t possess an accredited qualification but have the skills and motivation to succeed).

The successful candidate will play a key role within our team, undertaking mammograms in the NHS Breast Screening Programme both at KGH and on our mobile screening units.
They will also support the Consultant staff in the ultrasound suites, prepare trolleys for procedures and support patients under going specialist investigations.
Administrative duties will include clinic preparation and clinic sorting in accordance with the local Right Results policy and accurate documentation within records and IT systems.
The post holder will also undertake routine quality assurance testing of equipment and assist with stock ordering and control.
The post holder will be a key member of the breast screening team and support the achievement of our Excellence Values.
