SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of, and passion for, the beauty industry and consumer sentiment
  • Advanced user of all major social media platforms, understanding capabilities, and evolutions. Also an understanding of the industry trends
  • Solid organizational and time management skills, detail-oriented, with the ability to focus and work efficiently in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills both written and oral, and ability to work with all levels of staff and management

Responsibilities:

  • Execute brand tactics to continually increase EMV, engagement, traffic, considerations, and conversions
  • Responsible for overseeing the daily conversations amongst the community, outside of DECIEM’s owned channels, in both a proactive and reactive way
  • Manage the micro, macro and major influencer communities, continually vetting contacts, fostering key relationships and growing databases
  • Seek out and nurture The Ordinary and NIOD communities across all major social platforms
  • Actively seek out and submit products and brands for local calendar event goodie bags and celebrity seeding via talent agencies
  • Responsible for highlighting, and sharing with relevant stakeholders, new social platforms of interest, including subcultures and forums. Continually keeping an eye on evolutions of platforms
  • Work with the Global social media team to identify unique UGC-led content per channel to aid audience growth and intrigue
  • Identifying and create buzz around key calendar date moments with a focus on talent
  • Oversee community tools including ShopMy and Tribe Dynamics for the region
  • Report externally to retail partners as part of trade marketing activity involving influencer
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the creator aspect of the North American TikTok shop program
