Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The Associate Manager, Walgreens Advertising Group - Digital Partnerships, will develop and execute strategies to further scale media capabilities and operations for WAG. This position will be responsible for establishing new digital partnerships, as well as driving growth through existing partnerships. This role will help lead product marketing, enabling cross-functional teams to optimize their media offering for clients. As a result, the position will play a key role in creating value for Walgreens Advertising Group and the broader Marketing teams through all partnerships and commerce platforms.
Job Responsibilities
- Manages data storage and onboarding solutions, both in-house or third-party data – retail transaction data, customer data, customer audiences, and media performance data, among others
- Develops new data sharing solutions that increase operational efficiency and scale
- Liaise with IT, Engineering, and third-party endpoints such as data & insights companies, media agencies, and cpg partners
- Manages data & technology enhancement and partnership roadmap for product and capabilities; develop requirements to meet the needs of the business
- Leads cross-functional work streams to research issues and implement solutions that reduce points of disruption to the business
- Identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks in the operational processes that impact performance
- Implements and manages data governance controls in accordance with legal/privacy standards
- Partners with internal teams to deliver consistency and accuracy of data in a continuously changing environment
- Oversees the integration of multiple data sets, for example first- and third-party data merge, with both internal and external partners
- Identifies additional data operations processes throughout Walgreens for integration - driving consistency, compliance, and efficiency with dedicated WAG efforts
- Develops deep understanding of internal data assets, identifying opportunities to enrich partnerships and offering in market
- Identifies and evaluates opportunities in the marketplace to elevate capabilities and drive growth for the business
- Delivers exceptional client service: Strengthen internal and external partnerships through deep expertise in data & operations, providing unique solutions for processes not yet established
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of experience in data or business intelligence role OR High School/ GED and at least 4 years of experience in data or business intelligence role
- Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, as well as external partners
- Experience retrieving, analyzing, and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
- Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
- At least 1 year of experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives)
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within an organization
- Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 4 years of experience product marketing, product development, or similar role
- Experience with data onboarding to external partners
- Experience working in the area of media activation and measurement
- Experience managing data including understanding the full data lifecycle, experience developing and embedding data quality programs, and understanding data governance
- Experience with campaign execution through various media channels, such as social or self-service platforms
