Position Summary
We are searching for an Associate in the Member Contact Center in NRECA’s Lincoln Operations. As a part of the Insurance Financial Services (IFS) department, this position handles all incoming calls and emails to NRECA, assists callers by either first-call resolution or by transferring the call/email to the subject matter expert.

Qualifications

Required & Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent. Associate’s degree in business, preferred.
  • Inbound telephone experience, preferably, in an inbound call center.
  • Experience answering telephone calls related to insurance/retirement plans, preferred.
  • Experience using call tracking software, helpful.
  • Ability to comfortably navigate multiple computer applications throughout the day.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Attention to details.
  • Effective problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Work a hybrid schedule, M-F, 8:15 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Essential Physical Requirements

  • Close visual acuity to perform activities, such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; writing; and viewing a computer screen.
  • If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
