Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist with assortment strategy creation in partnership with merchants based on the analysis of our own internal metrics as well as the competitor marketplace
- Partner closely with the Planning department and regional teams to ensure optimal product mix
- Identifies opportunities assortments and help to create Product Briefs that communicate to the Design Team what the need is and why with clear direction
- Utilize advanced in-depth knowledge of the Canada Goose consumer, the competition, market trends, retail and Omni channel reality, general business, and available analytics to provide long-term vision and an overall framework for line plans
- Support Categories Strategies by providing data analysis, summaries and financial models when required with a close eye on trend, the market, influencers, and culture
- Collect sales hindsight’s regularly; analyze data to identify regional and channel specific needs and opportunities; present these insights to the rest of the Product Team
- Meet all key milestones and deadlines as set by the Corporate Calendar
- Uphold brand filter and product integrity across categories
- Keep all assortment planning files and tools accurate and up to date including PLM, Line lists, Assortment tools.
- Assist with sample and presentation set up/ coordination
