We are seeking an Associate Mobile Engineer specializing in Android to join our dynamic team.

REQUIREMENTS
- 0-2 years of experience in mobile development
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Proficiency in Java and Kotlin
- Understanding of RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Comfortable with continuous integration
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to develop and solve problems within Android applications
- Proactively engage with peers across the organization to share knowledge and solve issues
- Develop and test standard Android software applications and related programs
- Apply software design principles and computer science fundamentals to write clean, maintainable, and optimized code
- Utilize database design knowledge to fulfill data requirements
- Help coordinate stakeholder input when developing solutions
- Understand and apply policies and processes where standardization is required
- Complete tasks and provide data to support implementation of comprehensive solutions
- Report on current work status and participate in team meetings
- Challenge existing processes and suggest improvements when necessary
